definitely differentthese pants are definitely different . From the pockets wide at the top but taper in the deeper your hands go . The biggest thing I don’t like about it is the belt loops . The front belt loops are so far apart , theirs no belt loop for your belt to lase under at the end. And they did come with at lot of loose threads. It said they are a little lower in the hips and waist ,I was a little worried this might expose a plumbers crack for the working man, but was relieved to find out they don’t sit that much below the waistline. all in all their OK they do fit good and do have a nice look to them it’s a little too early to tell how good they will hold up. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

My new go to pantsThese work pants are great. I'm a farmer with a very wide range of daily work. I am a guy on the skinnier side with a "climbers build". 165, 32"waist, 6'. All other work pants are huge on me with way too much material so I constantly have to move it out of the way. These pants fit my build great! They're comfortable and durable and will for sure be my go to work pant. If you're a guy on the bigger side, I would probably look elsewhere or at least go try them on.

Not worth itI own a dozen different dickies and unfortunately they are always a hit or miss, even two of the same style pant in the same size will vary. This pant says its a regular fit but its a little on the slimmer side, which isn’t bad. However two horrible things, one the front pocket openings are MASSIVE and shallow, I can fit two hands into one pocket, Dont plan on keeping anything in your pockets. Second, the fit in the butt area is horrible, the pants ride right up your rear no matter how you wear them, extremely uncomfortable to the point that after wearing them once, it will be the last. On the plus side the flex material is very nice.

Weird pantsfront pocket openings are huge. I have large hands and these are just ridiculous... very easy for stuff to fall out and even worse, very easy for stuff to fall in! In example, sawdust, wood chips and metal shavings...
Also, the rise in these is a little lower than normal so they feel pretty snug in the butt at first. Odd thing is, there is a large amount of excess material at the hips, right by the enormous pocket openings so you end up with a really solid "equestrian riding pant" look, or like you're holding a spare tennis ball on each hip for faster serves while working...
The material is definitely thinner than I expected from something called "tough duck" but whatever... I ordered em and wore them to work, so there you have it.
They ARE pants... I'll give them that.

Goofy pockets, expect to loose everything in themI usually only buy relaxed fit dickies but the flex waist is really comfortable so I decided to try my luck with regular fit. Unfortunately I was surprised to find the same design of pockets does not carry over to regular fit and they are much longer and really shallow. I wish flex fit was available in a relaxed jean, I will not purchase anything other than relaxed again because in my opinion they are the best design and most comfortable jeans ever. If regular fit was the same but a little more tight fitting I would love them but this is not the case.

Good fit and fabric, bad front pocketsThe fit and fabric are good, but the front pockets, as others have said, are not good. The bottom of the pocket is a normal length, but the face of the pant that creates the pocket opening is cut strangely. The distance from the waistband to the side seam pocket opening is 9". That same measurement on a pair of Dickies 5 pocket pants is about 5". No wonder the front pockets seem so shallow. I hope Dickies will change this in future production runs of this pant, because it really detracts from an otherwise good pant. I haven't lost anything out of the pockets yet, but I won't be surprised if I do.

Comfortable: yes! Durable: Time will tell..Great idea for pants. Durable but unrestricted. I can’t wear baggy pants, they just get in the way. Too tight of pants and they restrict. These have a professional look to them while offering comfort. Only time will tell now as to how well they hold up. There are a few areas on the seams where you need to trim loose threads before showing up on the job or meeting customers.

Why only 5 belt loops??I've been wearing strictly Dickies pants for 20 years, and these are, hands down, my absolute favorite. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is because I don't understand for the life of me why Dickies decided to cut corners and go from 7 to 5 belt loops. Just doesn't make sense. It would make sense if they put wider loops on, but they are still the skinny ones. I have gone so far as to cut the belt loops off of the pants I retire and sew two extras onto these.
