Rated 5 out of 5 by from I’m a welder So I’m a 5 foot tall gal weighing about 115 and So finding good pants that actually fit me has always been a struggle, let alone finding work pants. These work perfectly and I love all the pockets. It’s a thicker material so it gets hot but as a welder, it’s always hot. II appreciate the thickness as it adds extra protection from the spatter and other hot things. I’m very happy with them. They’re baggy which is great to fit over my boots as well. And they stretch so mobility is awesome for when I’m climbing around parts and getting situated to weld. I’d recommend them to anyone who needs strong and trustworthy pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from love these! these are great pants! i ordered a full size larger and also longer (6 tall) than the crawford pants (4 reg) i have . the fit is much tighter. i have only had these a couple of weeks but will be putting them through the paces as a tile setter- i love the stretch and the many pockets and the slim fit- the back pf the pants comes up high enough for full coverage- i'm 5'6 and weigh 130 lbs and am heavy in the thighs- the carhartt customer service woman helped me get the right size from a pair i already owned. the twill is much thicker than the crawford pants material

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Likely great pants for some, not fit for me I purchased these because I essentially wanted a slimmer fit of the Crawford pant – I'm small, I wanted slim, durable pants. They are likely great for some people, but not for me. Lots of stretch and still pretty loose through the leg but I could see how it would be tight and not very breathable if they fit any tighter. I am usually a 0, I wear the 2 in Carhartt overalls and love them. These are too big for me – I'm 5'6" and weigh about 110 pounds. In the end, it wasn't the fabric or the durability I was looking for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them I love them! I’m 5 4 and pretty straight down. I ordered a size larger (8 instead of 6) Because of the other reviews and they fit perfect. I don’t think I would be able to button a 6.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Representation matters. So happy to have construction pants that fit a woman’s body! So so happy to finally have construction quality pants that actually fit my body! The fit was exactly what I expected using the fit finder tool. I will say these are not baggy pants. They are slim around the thighs and rear and a bit baggy in the calves. If you want baggy order the size that’ll be loose on the fit finder tool using your height and weight. The fabric is stretchy so I can crouch down for inspections without issues, but tough enough that if it gets caught on some rebar I won’t get scratched.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants! I have been wearing these pants to work for weeks now and they are doing extremely well. I work at Trader Joe's so I don't max out their capacity as work pants, but they work well for what I need. I usually wear a size 8 or 10 and I heard they can run small so I got the 10 which was definitely the right choice. They fit well on the leg and are a little loose around the waist, but with a belt the fit great. Overall I really like them and am considering buying another pair in black. Cute and functional!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An actual work pant! I would definitely recommend this product. I work as a forest engineer so I’m constantly walking through slash, blackberries, devils club, and operating equipment so having a pant that is durable is extremely important to me. I’ve tried various Carhartt pants in the past all of which were too delicate to be work pants, but the Twill Double Front are the best and closest to what they make for men. They need to be broken in a little bit but nothing compared to the pants for men.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Replacing the 1889 Slim Fit Canvas Dungaree For a year, my go-to wonder pant for work was the 1889 Slim Fit. Then, Carhartt changed the cut of that pant without changing the style number; the pants were smaller through the hips and gapier through the waist, as others have also reported. Going up a size made for a passable work pant, but if I'm going to spend that much $$$, I want a pant that's more than "passable." This newer style is a lighter weight and significantly less expensive replacement. The size I finally settled on, however, was two sizes larger than my original size in the 1889 Slim Fit. I've just finished my first week in them and my first laundering, so I can't comment on durability or quality. The shrinkage in the drier was substantial, however, so I'm going to line dry them going forward. They're comfortable, and they look pretty good for my shape.
