Dickies Unisex Fit

Unisex scrubs are designed to be worn comfortably by both men and women and are generally cut to fit a bit more loosely. Since the fit accommodates men, many women achieve a better fit by stepping down one size from what they might wear in a ladies' size.

How to Take Your Measurements for a Great Fit

For best results, follow these guidelines:

  • Take all measurements in inches
  • If your measurements are between sizes, order the larger size
  • For greatest accuracy, have someone else take your measurements (rather than doing it yourself)
  • Your tape measure should be pulled snug, not tight

Chest: Exhale, then measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest; Be sure to hold the tape level and firmly, but not tight

Waist: Keep the tape loose and measure around your natural waistline; For most, the waist will sit at the hipbone, but if you wear your scrub bottoms at a different place on your waist, please adjust accordingly

Length: We suggest Petites for women up to 5'4", Regular length up to 5'6", and Tall length for 5'7" and above.

Inseam: Measure from the top of inner thigh to the top of the heel of the shoe.

Hip: Standing with your feet slightly apart, measure around the fullest part of your body.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheaper! Last year I spent over $900 on work shirts for my dad. He is a big guy and works in sheet metal so his shirts get distorted faster then you can say good morning. I dont understand why the workwear shirts are so expensive. They are a thin fabric, breathable and cool yes but they don't last long and especial having to buy them 4x tall short sleeve is no picnic after you see the total. I wish you had a cheaper work wear short for bigger men. My father goes through them like toilet paper and spending large quantities of money and having to patch ever night is redicules. By the end of 2015 there was more patches then shirt. It's getting tiring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shirts for my Security Guards! Some of the shirts we have purchased in the past are shirts that must be tucked in, or they look sloppy. Most of my team is not a fan of tucking in their shirts, and these shirts look okay if they are not tucked in. Due to only being able to provide my guards a certain amount of shirts, the shirts need to be washed frequently. The shirts are still in great shape! They are breathable and great for the summer, but thick enough to keep them a little warmer during the winter. The only button up shirts we buy now! We have our patches sewn on to them and they look GREAT! I can't answer the below questions because we have Men and Women wear the shirts and they are of all ages.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lightweight SS work shirt Okay, I prefer the old LS504 and LS508 "Premium Industrial" poplin work shirts from a few years ago, but this is virtually the same thing. The top snap closure in place of a button seems a little silly, I guess so you can quickly open up the top of the shirt with one hand, but it still looks odd. Just a fair warning; this is a lightweight poplin 65/35 poly/cotton mix, and it can wear quicker than the standard 1574 twill work shirt--won't tear or rip, but can be scratched in a way that twill won't show--but it is great for hot weather and looks neat without the tendency to pill so easily. It can be a little wrinkly straight out of the dryer, but irons handily enough if you need it to look a little sharper. Still casual enough for wear outside of work if that's your thing, and it thankfully doesn't have quite the "Original Fit" burlap sack cut of the 1574 (i.e.; trimmer in the stomach, and slightly shorter sleeves).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tall sizes not long enough I have worn Dickies Industrial Short sleeved work shirt in twill fabric before and compared them to what I have currently in the non twill. The size on the label (3XLT) is the same but the length is about 2 inches shorter than the twill shirt. Not a true tall sized shirt in my opinion as the other twill was. I hope Dickies takes this into consideration in future manufacturing because Dickies quality is unsurpassed and it is why I wear them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shirt I bought these shirts to work in. We have to wear black collared shirts. I am an Operations Manager in retail. So half my day is in the store and the other half is warehouse work. These wash and dry well with shrinking or wrinkling. As well if they hold up like my old versions they don't fade out like all the other type of shirts I've tried. I wear the short sleeve all year and just layer up when it's cold. So these have plenty of room to layer under. Lastly the buy one get 50% off the second with free shipping is perfect. It got me to order. Thanks JH

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed I bought these shirts to replace the ones I bought three years ago to wear at work. The older ones were a little thicker and were more comfortable. These new ones you can see through like a window. I will not be buying any more of Dickies products. Seems the craftmanship has slipped. Roy Shuler

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long life, great fit I ordered about a dozen of these shirts in varying colors over 2 years ago. I wear them almost daily, at work and even on days off sometimes. They are very durable and are holding their color well. The size fits as expected (large). I can't even guess how many times they've been washed & dried. I hang them right out of the dryer, virtually wrinkle free. Definitely a two-thumbs-up purchase.
