Dickies Unisex Fit

Unisex scrubs are designed to be worn comfortably by both men and women and are generally cut to fit a bit more loosely. Since the fit accommodates men, many women achieve a better fit by stepping down one size from what they might wear in a ladies' size.

How to Take Your Measurements for a Great Fit

For best results, follow these guidelines:

  • Take all measurements in inches
  • If your measurements are between sizes, order the larger size
  • For greatest accuracy, have someone else take your measurements (rather than doing it yourself)
  • Your tape measure should be pulled snug, not tight

Chest: Exhale, then measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest; Be sure to hold the tape level and firmly, but not tight

Waist: Keep the tape loose and measure around your natural waistline; For most, the waist will sit at the hipbone, but if you wear your scrub bottoms at a different place on your waist, please adjust accordingly

Length: We suggest Petites for women up to 5'4", Regular length up to 5'6", and Tall length for 5'7" and above.

Inseam: Measure from the top of inner thigh to the top of the heel of the shoe.

Hip: Standing with your feet slightly apart, measure around the fullest part of your body.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good design I have worn this particular model for about 10 years now. I like the design, the combination and percentage of polyester and cotton, and the crotch gusset is a big, big plus to me. What I have noticed over the years is that the material keeps getting lighter, which means it is not as durable and does not have as much body. My recent purchase are the lightest so far. I will not keep purchasing these because of this. If Dickies would make a heavier weave like they did about 10 years ago, and just a little smaller over all cut on the whole pant like it was at that time also, I would be more than willing to pay more for them, instead of paying less and getting much less.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great work pants I've been wearing this particular style of Dickies for several years. Holds up well to use and minimal fade (washed in cold, dried on low). I like the plastic zippers since I'm around painted items that can be scratched by metal (plastic belt buckle as well). I'm mostly retail but also handle lots of freight and snags have not been an issue or being cut/torn from cardboard. I don't feel like there's a shrinkage, either. Overall I am very satisfied. However, they do run a little small. I wear a 36 waist in everything else, but needed a 38 with these. I also ordered length next size longer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well made, but . . . I like these pants. Roomy. Lots of pockets. Strong fastener. Reinforced pockets. Good price. My only complaint is the short zipper. It's fine for getting the pants on an off, but don't plan on taking a leak through this skimpy zipper. You basically have to undo your belt, unbutton the waist fastener, lower the zipper and pull the pants down a little just to urinate. No offense to the ladies, but this is not how men want to do this. Also, there's no button on the left back pocket to keep your wallet in. I take the pants to a tailor and have her install a snap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for travel I owned one pair of these pants and wore them on an extended vacation where I discovered how useful they are for holding cell phones, plane tickets, brochures and all the stuff that comes with life on the road. Well, I bought three more pairs last month to take on a four week trip. They fit well and wear well. The only complaint is one I have had consistently with Dickies pants which is that no two pair fit the same and the variation is usually in the waist. Thanks for asking

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for work while keeping a professional look I have several pairs of these work pants. They are very durable, and last a long time. I am a Audio/Video Systems Integrator that owns his own company. Most of our systems are in upscale homes, so I like to maintain a nice, professional appearance. However, all projects start out with us getting dirty from drywall dust, insulation, sawdust, mud, etc... But the pants hold up great and then clean up even better!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from To Tight I have tried several Dickies work pants in an attempt to wear something more comfortable than pants we are issued at work. Dickies pants (to me) are still cut for the 1950s worker. I wish I was slim and lean like the workers of days gone by; unfortunately I am not. I don't feel comfortable in the "relaxed fit" dickies pants no matter what style I try. They do not rest at the natural waist and ride up in the crotch. hard to stand up in them or even bend over. With this particular style I tried sizing up I went from a size 38", to a 40" and finally a 42". I gave up and do not foresee any future purchases.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sizing is very small I bought these pants for work as I am a computer tech. I thought they would look nice and not wrinkle very easily. I normally wear a 34 w or even a 32 w so I ordered the 34w by 32 L. I would say the 32L is slightly shorter than my other pants and the 34 is more like a 31W. I would have to order a 36W or 38W to be comfortable sitting in these pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent but improvable Snug fit, but judged size with weight loss and coming off of another brand's cheap jeans so may be no fault of Dickies. I keep finding loose threads to pull. Pockets on sides are too low to comfortably use, especially the "phone pouch", and I wish I could have chosen to have the phone pouch on the right side (or both) instead of (just) the left. Also, the zippers are a little difficult to open the way the pulls are oriented below the flaps. Material is thick. Not uncomfortable but does take some getting used to. If the loose threads aren't an indication of quality or failure, I expect these pants will last me a couple of years at least.
