Carhartt

A properly fitted garment not only keeps you looking professional, but also keeps you feeling comfortable for your entire work day. See below for advice on taking accurate measurements.

Carhartt Scrubs Unisex Sizes

Unisex scrubs are designed to be worn comfortably by both men and women and are generally cut to fit a bit more loosely. Since the fit accommodates men, many women achieve a better fit by stepping down one size from what they might otherwise wear in a ladies' size.

How to Take Your Measurements for a Great Fit

For best results, follow these guidelines:

  • Take all measurements in inches
  • If your measurements are between sizes, order the larger size
  • For greatest accuracy, have someone else take your measurements (rather than doing it yourself)
  • Your tape measure should be pulled snug, not tight

Chest: Exhale, then measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest; Be sure to hold the tape level and firmly, but not tight

Waist: Keep the tape loose and measure around your natural waistline; For most, the waist will sit at the hipbone, but if you wear your scrub bottoms at a different place on your waist, please adjust accordingly

Length: We suggest Petites for women up to 5'3", Regular length up to 5'6", and Tall length for 5'7" and above.

Inseam: Measure from the top of inner thigh to the top of the heel of the shoe.

Hip: Standing with your feet slightly apart, measure around the fullest part of your body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bib Model R41 SATISFIED finally got my right fit! i’m a 32x30 carhartt pants and i got a size 34x34 Model R41 Black bib. the inseam is a bit long but i fold once and thats that and it looks great. it would fit perfect with an 34x32 but 34x34 was the only size they had in the store that would fit me so i grabbed it and i do think it feels more comfortable a little big. if you are usually an inseam 30 get 32 and if you don’t mind folding it just a bit get a 34. the 30 inseam is different than pants its way shorter when u knee down you can see half your boot. Also, the material is insanely good just by touching it you feel that it’ll last you many years to come! Thanks Carhartt!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bib fasteners Everybody loves Carhartt clothing. But almost every review I have read says they HATE THE FASTENERS. Those piece of junk fasteners are a pain in the butt. Surely you read your own reviews. So why don't you take the hint that those fasteners are junk? Go back to what made you so popular. Why on God's earth did you start using those? It takes me forever to do and undo them. You have to turn them a perfect 90 degrees and then wiggle them around until they finally go together. I spend about 30 seconds trying to get them fastened. And I have been using them for YEARS!!! 90% are upset with the fasteners!!! And why are you making them in Mexico? We want USA made Carhartt!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One concern Met my expectations over all but my one are off concern was the suspender attachments to the bib top. having never purchased this product and not noticed until I actually attempted to use them, This is attachment is not what i expected. I find it a little more difficult to use than the button and wire type or button and eyelet types I grew up knowing on other bibbed pants but preferred over a snap. I also have some concerns about it's durability as it appears rather thin and could be easily bent or damaged subjecting it to early failure. Time will tel on that however.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not like they used to be Since I had read others reviews I knew to order it at least 2 sizes larger. They just don't have the quality "feel" that they used to. While checking them over I noticed that the seams on both sides of waist were already letting go, and I have even tried them on yet! In addition, the traditional button and clasp system of securing the shoulder straps has been replaced by a cheap this metal slot and clip system that is also far more difficult to use than the old system. Make sure you check them out thoroughly before you buy them, they're not like they used to be!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The zippers always split!!! I’ve worn carhartt bibs every winter for the last 25 years. The duck fabric and lining holds up well. The zippers ALWAYS fail. On both the jackets, but most especially the bibs. It is the Achilles heal of an otherwise great garment. You see a lot of guys walking around on the job site with blown out zippers all the time. I don’t know why they don’t update the old brass zippers. After literally having about 15+ sets bibs and jackets retired early for this reason, I’m sadly looking for an alternative to my beloved Carhartts until they resolve this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable, comfortable, warm Unbelievably warm, comfortable, convenient, durable. These things are built to last a decade in hard work use. If not a lifetime for a guy like myself. I'm 6ft 200. The 40x32 fits me perfectly. Even with layers. The insulation goes to the waist. Zips to the knee. All I need. The knee zips are covered for protection. I got them in no problem, after a shipping issue where my first order never made it. But the customer service was polite and a blessing for what they did to help me with my lost order. I order all my Carhartt products right from the source.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and comfortable My significant other works as a carpenter. I purchased two pairs to keep him warm during this brutal New England winter. Was advised at the store to get TWO sizes up for waist size so instead of ordering 34x32 I got 38x32. He seemed a little hesitant and disappointed when he opened his gift due to them being two sizes bigger than his norm. However his opinion changed once he tried them on. Definitely recommend going up two waist sizes. Length was perfect. He absolutely loves them. Wears them to snowblow and work. Very happy with this purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from All ducks are not water resistant I called csr on chat and they conferred with me re sizing. They fit me exactly as I wanted them to fit. I always thought duck overalls were water resistant. These are not. I will check on getting some Scotch guard. I own arctic bibs for really cold days when building power plants, but they are quite heavy, especially if working high up in structure. This set will be for slightly cold days, or when I am very active and need lighter bibs due to activity. My wardrobe is 90% Carhartt and 10% UA....that equals 100% success.
