Rated 2 out of 5 by from Husband does not like this style Husband said pockets are to low and shallow flashlight falls out when he crawls under vehicles to work on them. Top pocket to small for cell phone. He prefers the old style better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Waist size is tricky if you're not a Hefty Dude No disrespect to men with a stomach, but the 32 waist hangs off me like a loose burlap sack. I'm a fit/slim guy and have been a 32 waist all my adult life. I use these off-trail for backcountry fieldwork to cut through dense forest (no scratches, cuts, or bugs in my trousers). The elastic sides are probably great if you've got a tummy, but I don't and now my underpants are full of twigs and bugs. I'm 5'10" and 172lbs, sans belly. Next time I'll get 30W 32L (defo add 2" to the inseam, they shrink up to your calves if you're wearing boots). Carhartt is the best, if you can get the right fit without tossing $80 down the tube. Can I trade these out?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Set of overalls, Saved my leg TL;DR These pants stopped a chainsaw from cutting my leg open. I purchased these overalls for general work around our small farm, and home projects. Much of the time we are cutting down trees and splitting wood for next season. As I was cutting up branches, the blade caught a branch and bumped into my leg while the blade was running and grabbed my pant leg, at which point I killed the engine and dropped the saw. The saw barely cut through the reinforced front layer and the inner layer wasn't even touched! These bib overalls saved me from potentially going to the hospital. I would recommend them to anyone using a chainsaw, hands down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2019-made is USA. 2020 still made here? Bought a pair of these b4 xmas, mine said made in the USA on the tag. I would think/hope that they still are in 2020. These are pretty heavy and durable. Nice for fall and winter. Will be intersting to see how hot these are on a hot humid Michigan day. If these are still made in USA your site should have that trade mark thing in the corner like the rest of your American made products. OH, these are a little on the short side for length. I normally wear 30 inch inseam but when your in a seat, or riding a bike/moped the legs are too short and your ankles get exposed and they get cold. I'll buy 32x32 next time around. Support american jobs, buy American goods.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great for A Full Time Gardener I currently work as a gardener full time and so I ordered these to help me work harder and more efficiently, they work. It is very helpful to wear these when gardening because I can carry all of my tools comfortably and when I need them they are usually right near a hand or are easily accessible. There are many pockets and between all my tools, cell phone, notebook, pens and whatever else, it is very useful to be able to stay so organized. I will say however that the first day wearing them my coworker laughed at me because it took me a minute to figure out which pocket my cell phone was in while it rang... Great bibs, I anticipate they will last a few years through hard work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great overalls with some problems The good, the bad and the ugly: The Good: they are made to last FOREVER. Extremely well-made, durable and Carhartt quality. Love the toughness, durability and all the pockets. The zipper pouch on the chest is a bonus. The Bad: I absolutely HATE the shoulder strap fasteners. They are a total pain in the butt, and lord help anyone who has to go do #2 or get out of them in a hurry. The straps also don't cinch all the way up, so even though I have a 28" inseam, due to this issue, they are too long. Personally, I hate elastic in anything--it doesn't last. The Ugly: they are extremely baggy/big in the legs/thighs, which is great for big/fat dudes, terrible for us short, skinny dudes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love these bibs! This is my first pair of bibs [of any kind] in many years, I also fairly new to Carhartt. I mostly LOVE these things. I like the comfort of bibs, not having anything tight around the waist, or having to keep pulling up pants. These fit great, and are comfortable, and don’t find my movements restricted. I love the insertable knee pads. My knees don’t like being kneeled on any more. I like that these pads are always with me, without any thought. They are also more comfortable than any seperate knee pads I have worn. It is too soon to know how durable they will be, but they look well made and appear as if they will last well. I do HATE the fastening system for the over the shoulder straps.
