A properly fitted garment not only keeps you looking professional, but also keeps you feeling comfortable for your entire work day. See below for advice on taking accurate measurements.

Carhartt Scrubs Unisex Sizes

Unisex scrubs are designed to be worn comfortably by both men and women and are generally cut to fit a bit more loosely. Since the fit accommodates men, many women achieve a better fit by stepping down one size from what they might otherwise wear in a ladies' size.

How to Take Your Measurements for a Great Fit

For best results, follow these guidelines:

  • Take all measurements in inches
  • If your measurements are between sizes, order the larger size
  • For greatest accuracy, have someone else take your measurements (rather than doing it yourself)
  • Your tape measure should be pulled snug, not tight

Chest: Exhale, then measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest; Be sure to hold the tape level and firmly, but not tight

Waist: Keep the tape loose and measure around your natural waistline; For most, the waist will sit at the hipbone, but if you wear your scrub bottoms at a different place on your waist, please adjust accordingly

Length: We suggest Petites for women up to 5'3", Regular length up to 5'6", and Tall length for 5'7" and above.

Inseam: Measure from the top of inner thigh to the top of the heel of the shoe.

Hip: Standing with your feet slightly apart, measure around the fullest part of your body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good old carhartt heavy duty work gear I wear A 42 x 32 normally. Although with these I size up to the 44 x 32. Then underneath you can wear some type of long john. These have always been some part of my winter attire for many years. They are still heavy duty top quality pants. Although I really wish they would put the suspender buttons back on them. Not the rivet type but the regular sewn on ones. Also I really would like to see these back with the red slippery insulation and buttons for suspenders like the years past had. Although these unlined ones were always part of the equipment as one style can't do everything for all types of weather. You will never go wrong with these firm duck pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shrink:( I use Carhartt jeans for my work pants but I am going through them more often so I figured I’d try these. I vary in size with jeans based on my current strength level, rotating between 30 and 31’s throughout the year. Since being injured my work pants sizing hasn’t moved from 30x30 my 31’s have been in the back of the drawer. I bought these in 30 30 and they were great until I washed them now I feel like I’m cutting my circulation. I’ve never had duck shrink this much, at least in my jackets, I’m new to the pants. Pretty upset I’m hoping maybe they’ll stretch and I just won’t dry them ever again. I love everything about them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brush pants I purchased the double front for brush busting grouse in northern Wisconsin. I am very happy with the performance, durability and comfort. The pockets are handy for cell phone, compass, wallet and glasses . I recommend a size larger than your normal size to allow for shrinkage. I am normally a 32 “inseam but ordered 34” in order to counter the ride up that occurs when going through thick cover. Unless you like the extra gear, you can do away with chaps here. These are a very durable and practical way to go and will be my favorite go to pants for years to come and look forward to getting a few seasons behind them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally pants that fit! These aren't the kind of pants you wear around your butt, these are cut like pants SHOULD be! No crack showing here! They sit at my actual waist (a little under the naval, but above your hip bones) and allow for great mobility without feeling like I'm showing my rear-end. The double knee is great - I've only blown through one layer of knee so far, and even then the hole is tiny. These are the only work pants I'll ever buy and I hope that they never change the material (feels like armour!) the cut (they aren't jeans!) or where they're made. Covering the back rivets would be nice though. But dont remove them! I'm just tired of scratching things when I get a bit too close.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The standard work pant I've owned numerous pairs of these over the last 10 years, most recently daily for the last year doing construction labor. They've taken a TON of abuse and keep on ticking. The double front adds life in the areas that bear the most stress while doing manual work. They end up settling in to you, like an old glove. I love them more as this happens and I'm always a little attached when they eventually fail. Great pant for the money. I find the waist a bit on the small size vs. other pants, so I generally size that up, but the length is accurate and everything else in the pants is generous size-wise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy, and stiff enough to walk themselves out the door I love these pants. Breaking them in was fun. Had a black pair for 2 years, and it took a year before signs of significant wear were seen. In the end the fabric on the inner thighs wore through first (-1 durability), rather than the pant hems or pocket edges (-1 quiality). And I'm not even mad. I wish these pants were offered in inseams less than 28in. The toughness of the duck canvas makes sewing a new seam difficult. It's a blessing and a curse. I'f you're going to wear these in winter, I highly recommend getting a slightly larger size to account for any clothing base layers you tuck in.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They have so much potential. I ordered some double front dungarees to go hiking and do other general work. I love the general aesthetic and the durability/functionality of the double knee. Extra durable, super tough, and very high quality build. The only thing that kept this review from being 5 stars across the board is the fact that it feels like I'm wearing parachute pants every time i move. Id LOVE these if they came in a slimmer fit, but until a slimmer fit in the double front is available(hopefully in black) i probably wont be ordering again. To reiterate, the quality is amazing. The parachute pant fit is not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THEY LAST A LONG TIME............ AS A HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC, I HAVE NEVER FOUND AS OF YET TO FIND A BETTER WORK PANTS, WHEN I WAS GROWING UP ON THE FARM - LEVI'S WERE THE ONLY THING AVAILABLE FOR ME, BUT SINCE LEVI'S 501 HAVE GOTTEN THINNER IN FABRIC THICKNESS OVER LAST 25 YEARS. NOW, I ONLY USE THIS MODEL OF CARHARTT STARTING BACK THEN. I HAVE WORN OUT MULTIPLE PAIRS IN THE POCKET LINERS OVER THE LAST 25 YEARS. I BOUGHT SO MANY PAIRS, "7 PAIRS AT A TIME" LASTING OVER ROUGHLY 7 YEARS BEFORE THE POCKET LINERS WEAR OUT. I WASH THEM IN ONLY WARM WATER AND DRY IN WARM ONLY, THE FIRST PAIR I LEARNED THAT WASHING IN HOT AND DRYING IN HOT - THEY WILL SHRINK BADLY - A SIDE NOTE MAKE SURE YOU READ THE TAG. AS A MECHANIC I'M HARD MY CLOTHES ;)))
