Carhartt

A properly fitted garment not only keeps you looking professional, but also keeps you feeling comfortable for your entire work day. See below for advice on taking accurate measurements.

Carhartt Scrubs Unisex Sizes

Unisex scrubs are designed to be worn comfortably by both men and women and are generally cut to fit a bit more loosely. Since the fit accommodates men, many women achieve a better fit by stepping down one size from what they might otherwise wear in a ladies' size.

How to Take Your Measurements for a Great Fit

For best results, follow these guidelines:

  • Take all measurements in inches
  • If your measurements are between sizes, order the larger size
  • For greatest accuracy, have someone else take your measurements (rather than doing it yourself)
  • Your tape measure should be pulled snug, not tight

Chest: Exhale, then measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest; Be sure to hold the tape level and firmly, but not tight

Waist: Keep the tape loose and measure around your natural waistline; For most, the waist will sit at the hipbone, but if you wear your scrub bottoms at a different place on your waist, please adjust accordingly

Length: We suggest Petites for women up to 5'3", Regular length up to 5'6", and Tall length for 5'7" and above.

Inseam: Measure from the top of inner thigh to the top of the heel of the shoe.

Hip: Standing with your feet slightly apart, measure around the fullest part of your body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them I wear these mainly during warmer weather, so i bought them to only fit over thing base layers. I love almost everything about them except the chest pockets, or the pockets in general. If you carry items such as a cell phone, the pockets are not gonna work for 5.5" and above screens. Took about 3 washes to get the break in feel. Have worn them with only thin pants down to 30 degrees and 20 mph winds and they did great for blocking the wind and the cold. And i was sitting still at a race. The pocket design is the only negative thing i can think of with these and i do plan on buying more bibs, in sandstone for work and duck for outside activities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid overalls. I love these. If you haven't had overalls before, try them on. I usually go 2-4" larger than waist and usually go my usual length, maybe a hair shorter since the straps are elastic although I haven't experienced much stretching after about 6 months of daily use. They do shrink a little too so accommodate for overal sizes and strinkage hence why I run them a little large. I kneel and sit in rock ballast (railroader) and the knees have yet to wear much. I didn't know how the cleanout pockets worked either so I tore them open to accommodate knee pads, OOPS! Other than that they're awesome.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lady buys men’s overalls They’re probably perfect for a man! I’m a woman and I love everything about them except how wide the legs are. I’m 5’7, 130, and the waist & butt fits me perfectly. I’m typically a size 6 in women’s. When I walk they make a lot of noise and are slightly combersome. I’m considering getting them altered but I don’t know how expensive that’ll be with the triple stitch. They’re beautiful though and definitely a quality product. Consider making this overall in a woman’s fitting? Smaller leg? I think that you will have a huge success and much broader audience

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tight waist, loose fit in legs I wear a 31 pant so I’m already between sizes. I opted for the 30 waist cause I did not want baggy overalls. I knew the legs would already be kinda baggy so I didn’t want to go up in size to a 32 to make the legs even baggier. Turns out the 30s were too tight around the waist than preferred and the legs were borderline baggy already. I also opted to keep them. Ive worn them 4 times in 4 weeks for 8 hours straight and love the durability and pockets. I have to keep the top button undone at the waist and I find myself pulling them down on my waist throughout the day because they hug my groin pretty tight. Overall, I’m not terribly pleased with the overalls. I wish they had size 31, were trimmer in the legs and were not cut as high in the groin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tight! I ordered my Overalls in the same size as the Rugged Flex work pants (I have several pair) that fit perfectly, assuming they would fit just as well. WRONG. These overalls are fully 1 waist size smaller than the Rugged Flex work pants. I double checked the label to make sure I had not received the wrong size but they were what I ordered. As long as I inhale deeply and don't button the side buttons I can just wear them but without the freedom I'd bought them for. I'd send them back and exchange for a larger waist size but I got them dirty trying to wear (to see if they'd stretch) and work in them so I guess their mine. If you order some think 1 waist size larger - you can work & move well if they're a little loose but not if they're too tight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Built tough These bibs stop everything! I work In a metal fabrication shop and recently purchased these for the winter. They’re perfect to layer under and will keep you warm. They are super stiff at first but once you wear them in they Grow on you. I’ve cut metal, sanded and welded in them and they’re still going strong. Only negative is that zipper doesn’t function at all and All my seams are the torn apart on the front pocket after two months of working in them. Maybe add more dense coverage on the front pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough stuff! For Christmas I bought a pair of these for myself and one for my son-in-law. I live on an acre in a rural area in TN, and he works outside in construction in Idaho, so we both needed something that would hold up to some heavy work. I expect these bibs are not going to disappoint. I've never owned a pair of these before but I think they are going to last a long time and hold up well. I just hope my wife doesn't think that I have gone "Carhartt crazy" since I keep finding more Carhartt items I want to buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing!!!!!! These are amazing! They are extremely comfortable and the sides stay closed which is always a bonus. the material is tough at first but after a few wears they lose the stiffness and become nice to wear all day. These are also very easy to clean, I have worn these about 5 times in the short time of owning them and in that time I have coated them in mud, grease, and oil; all those washed out of the overalls with no problem or left over stain. All together I would recommend these to everyone.
